Section 637.10 - Procedures

(a) Agencies considering employing or promoting individuals as environmental engineers, environmental scientists, environmental technicians or environmental aides shall submit satisfactory evidence to the commissioner that those individuals have had their qualifications approved under this Part prior to said employment or promotion.

(b) Prior to employing a trainee for a position described in this Part, the agency shall file a training plan for that individual for approval by the commissioner. Within 30 days after the completion of a training program, the agency shall notify the commissioner.

(c) The commissioner shall establish additional procedures, certificates and forms as necessary for the implementation of this section.
