Section 197.7 - Guide identification

(a) The department will provide to each licensed guide at the time of licensing, a license certificate, a wallet-size license card and a metal badge to be worn while guiding.

(b) Those licensed to guide for whitewater rafting and canoeing and rock and ice climbing will be issued appropriate identification in addition to the metal badge. Such identification must be worn while guiding.

(c) The certifications required by section 197.3(a) and (d) of this Part must be in effect and current whenever a licensed guide is guiding.
