Section 152.1 - Registering muskrat marshes

An owner or lessee of a marsh area registered with this department pursuant to the provisions of section 11-1109 of the Fish and Wildlife Law may make application to the department and be granted a permit to take muskrats on such registered marsh premises throughout the legal muskrat trapping period on such marsh by trapping in any manner, provided that such trapping shall be done in a manner to preclude any damage to muskrat houses, feeding houses or structures.
