Section 63.1 - Permits required

Hunting, trapping, field trials and dog training, except by cooperating landowners or their agricultural lessees, immediate families or employees, is prohibited on the Suffolk County Cooperator Area, Rocky Point Natural Resources Management Area, David A. Sarnoff Pine Barrens Preserve, Barcelona Neck State Land Area, and East Hampton Cooperative Area within any area posted with "Restricted Area--No Trespassing" or "Restricted Area--No Hunting" signs. Hunting, trapping, field trials or dog training outside such areas is prohibited except under permit from the Department of Environmental Conservation and in accordance with these regulations. Permits shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of section 63.2 of this Part.
