The Tivoli Bays Wildlife Management Area is one segment of the Hudson River National Estuarine Sanctuary. It was acquired by New York State for the purpose of wetlands preservation, protection and perpetuation of the unique natural features of the area and to provide for public use and enjoyment. Additional public uses of the area will include activities relating to environmental education and research, such as archeology. These regulations will be interpreted and applied in a manner which will advance, balance and reconcile these varied uses.
