Section 840.6 - Disclosure of jury lists

Pursuant to the authority conferred upon this court by section 509 (a) of the Judiciary Law, it is

ORDERED, that any application made by counsel for a party pursuant to Judiciary Law, section 509(a), for disclosure of the list of potential jurors for use in counsel's trial preparation shall be directed to and determined by the trial judge or justice, and it is further

ORDERED, that such applications shall be made upon notice to the Commissioner of Jurors and the other parties to the litigation, and it is further

ORDERED, that this procedure shall be effective November 10, 1989.
