Section 711.3 - ADM 79-0328: Authorization for committee on character and fitness to continue to inquire concerning any criminal actions and proceedings involving applicants for admission
The justices of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in and for the Second Judicial Department, upon reading chapter 877 of the Laws of 1976, which amended section 160.50 of the Criminal Procedure Law and added a new section 160.60 thereto, and also amended section 296 of the Executive Law of the State of New York, do hereby:
Order that the committees on character and fitness delegated by this court to investigate applicants for admission to the bar may continue to inquire concerning any criminal actions or proceedings involving the applicant, including actions or proceedings which were terminated in the applicant's favor, and may continue to require the applicants to answer questions and give information with respect to such matters.
