The clerk of any court within the judicial department in which an attorney admitted to practice in this State is convicted of a crime shall within five days of said conviction forward a certificate thereof to the committee having jurisdiction over the matter pursuant to section 691.4(a) of this Part and section 1240.12 of this Title.
