(a) When authorized by statute the director may request that the court award the service a reasonable fee.
(b) The director's requests for fees for the services of attorneys shall not exceed the hourly rates of compensation set forth in Judiciary Law section 35; and the director's requests for fees for the services of non-lawyer professionals shall not exceed the hourly rate of compensation set forth in the Unified Court System's compensation guidelines for court-appointed non-lawyer professionals.
(c) Fees awarded the service shall be maintained and dispensed in accordance with law.
