Section 9.1 - Filing of rules and regulations required

(a) All rules and regulations hereafter promulgated by any court or agency of the unified court system shall be filed with the Chief Administrator of the Courts. This section shall not apply to instructions issued by individual judges governing the hearing of cases pursuant to the Individual Assignment System.

(b) The Chief Administrator shall arrange for the publication of such rules and regulations, including in the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations and the State Register.

(c) The provisions of subdivision (b) of this section shall not be applicable to:

(1) general rules and orders of the Court of Appeals published in the State Register pursuant to section 52 of the Judiciary Law;

(2) rules of the Appellate Divisions or Appellate Terms for those courts; or

(3) rules of the Appellate Divisions for court-related agencies administered by the Appellate Divisions.
