Section 1273.2 - Aircraft and fuel dispensing apparatus to be grounded by wire

During all fuel handling operations in connection with any aircraft at the air terminal, the aircraft and the fuel dispensing or draining apparatus shall be grounded by wire to prevent the possibility of static ignition of volatile liquids.
