Section 1262.78 - Omnibuses

(a) Under no circumstances shall a trailer be attached to an omnibus being used in the transportation of passengers.

(b) In all omnibuses at least one portable fire extinguisher of the size and type approved by a recognized laboratory under classification 4-BC, shall be provided, properly filled and serviceable and mounted so as to be readily accessible for use. Every omnibus, except sedan type omnibuses, shall either display or have readily accessible for display at least one conspicuously lettered sign reading "SMOKING PROHIBITED", and shall display with oral instruction by the driver whenever vehicle is operated on other than air terminal highways or public vehicular parking lots.
