Section 1262.76 - Registration and inspection

(a) No automotive vehicle or piece of mobile equipment shall be used except in areas so designated by the airport manager, until registered, inspected and approved by the Port Authority.
(b) Every application for registration, inspection or re-inspection shall be made upon forms prescribed and furnished by the Port Authority, accompanied by evidence of automotive liability insurance in the amount:

except as may otherwise specifically be authorized by the manager. Such application shall also be accompanied by a detailed, authorized statement certifying compliance with the provisions of the rules and regulations set forth in this Part.
(c) Automotive vehicles and mobile equipment shall be submitted for registration and inspection prior to their use upon the airport and shall be submitted for reinspection once every year thereafter.
(d) Automotive vehicles and mobile equipment approved by the Port Authority shall be furnished an initial registration certificate to be kept on the air terminal, and an inspection identification which shall be displayed on the vehicle in the place or places designated by the manager of the air terminal.
(e) Automotive vehicles and mobile equipment submitted for inspection and registration shall bear the name of owner or lessee thereon, by means of a name plate or lettering.
(f) Automotive vehicles and mobile equipment shall be inspected, if involved in an accident, prior to returning to service.
