Part 1261 - Aircraft Operations
Starting, Taxiing, Towing and Parking
- Section 1261.40 - Aircraft to be positioned and taxied so that slip-stream or jet exhaust does not cause injury or damage
- Section 1261.41 - Starting and warming-up of aircraft engines restricted to designated areas
- Section 1261.42 - Presence of qualified attendant required before starting engine
- Section 1261.43 - Aircraft to be started and run by qualified persons only
- Section 1261.44 - Main landing wheels to be chocked and brakes locked prior to starting engine
- Section 1261.45 - Operator of helicopter must be certificated
- Section 1261.46 - Moving aircraft to be under control and moved at reasonable speed
- Section 1261.47 - Moving aircraft to be in contact with tower
- Section 1261.48 - Unattended aircraft to be secured in approved manner
- Section 1261.49 - Unattended helicopters to be secured in approved manner
- Section 1261.50 - Parked or stored aircraft to be moved upon request
- Section 1261.51 - Taxing in or out of hangars prohibited
- Section 1261.52 - Parked aircraft to have running lights on between sunset and sunrise; exception
- Section 1261.53 - All moving aircraft to proceed with running lights on between sunset and sunrise
