Section 1260.20 - Speed limits for air terminal highways

(a) The Port Authority hereby establishes speed limits for the air terminal highways at LaGuardia, Kennedy International and Newark Airports, as shown on the maps, entitled "LaGuardia Airport--Map of Air Terminal Highway Speed Limits", dated May 7, 1971, "Kennedy International Airport--Map of Air Terminal Highway Speed Limits", dated May 7, 1971, and "Newark Airport--Map of Air Terminal Highway Speed Limits", dated May 7, 1971, which said maps shall be filed with the secretary, and directs that appropriate signs shall be posted on the air terminal highways showing said speed limits.

(b) The executive director hereby is authorized to establish different speed limits for temporary periods when he shall deem it necessary in the event of construction on or near an air terminal highway.
