Section 1260.43 - Permission required for storage, handling or loading explosives or other dangerous articles barred by Federal regulations

(a) No reason shall, without prior permission, keep, transport, handle or store at, in or upon an air terminal any cargo of explosives or other dangerous articles which is barred from loading in or transportation by civil aircraft in the United States under the current provisions of part 103 of the Federal aviation regulations promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration.

(b) Any waiver of such regulations or of any part thereof by the Federal Aviation Administration or by any other competent authority shall not constitute or be construed to constitute a waiver of this rule or an implied permission to keep, transport, handle or store such explosives or other dangerous articles at, in or upon an air terminal. Advance notice of at least 24 hours shall be given the manager to permit full investigation and clearance for any operation requiring a waiver of this rule.
