Section 1260.9 - Unauthorized parking and storage of aircraft prohibited

Unless otherwise provided in a lease or other agreement, no person shall use any area of an air terminal (other than the public aircraft parking and storage areas), for parking and storage of aircraft without permission. When the manager deems that such use will not interfere with the operation of an air terminal, and such permission is granted, the charge for such use shall be double the rates provided in the schedule of charges at such air terminal for the public aircraft parking and storage area thereat, this charge to apply from the time the aircraft is so parked or stored at the air terminal. If, notwithstanding the above prohibition, a person uses such areas for parking or storage as aforesaid, without first obtaining such permission, then the manager shall have authority to order the aircraft removed or to cause the same to be removed and stored at the expense of the owner thereof, without liability for damage thereto arising from or out of such removal or storage. The above rate shall apply for the time said aircraft has been so parked or stored at an air terminal.
