Section 1245.4 - Weighing of vehicles (available at Port Newark only)

(a) There is available at the terminal a Fairbanks Morse 60-foot platform scale of 60-ton capacity, with self-registering beam.

(b) Weighing will be done by certified weighmasters licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Weights and Measures, and weight certificates furnished when requested.

(c) This will be done at the Port Authority's option and convenience only, and will not include any other service.

(d) For weighing straddle trucks............ 25 cents

(e) For weighing all other vehicles............ 50 cents

(f) For 100 or more weighings by one user per calendar week............ 25 cents per weighing
