Section 1244.1 - Free time, definition of

(a) The specified period during which cargo may occupy space assigned to it on terminal property free of wharf demurrage or terminal storage charges immediately prior to the loading or subsequent to the discharge of such cargo on or off the vessel.

(b) Free time on inbound cargo will commence on the day after discharge of cargo is completed.

(c) Free time on outbound cargo will commence seven days before the day on which vessel berths.
