Section 1025.8 - Conformity with Federal, State and city regulations

No vehicle loaded with any hazardous material, and no tank vehicle which last contained a hazardous material, shall enter the Queens Midtown Tunnel, the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel or the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Lower Level unless such vehicle, its load and the transportation of such load in such vehicle shall in every respect comply with the U.S.D.O.T. regulations, including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing regulations regarding forbidden articles, proper condition for transportation, containers, packaging, marking, labeling, description, certification, quantity limitations, and loading and placarding or marking of the vehicle, and shall comply with all other applicable laws and regulations of the United States, the State and City of New York, and the departments and agencies thereof as they apply to hazardous materials.
