Section 800.30 - Enforcement of rules and regulations

(a) Except in those areas where the duty is specifically imposed upon some other officer or employee of the Cities of Albany or Rensselaer, it shall be the duty of any employee of the commission to whom the authority is delegated, to see to the enforcement of these rules and regulations, and for that purpose, he shall have the power and authority of a regular police officer of the Cities of Albany and Rensselaer, including the power to make arrests for the violation of any of the provisions of these rules and regulations.

(b) It shall also be the duty of any employee of the commission to report to the proper Federal or municipal officer the violation of any law, rule or regulation respecting the operation or control of Albany harbor in every case in which he is not, himself, empowered to act.
