Section 700.1 - Purpose and scope

(a) It is the intent of the Commission of Investigation (the commission) to fully comply, to the extent appropriate and required by law, with the provisions of article 6 of the Public Officers Law (the Freedom of Information Law). To this end, commission personnel will furnish to the public the information and records required by the Freedom of Information Law, as well as records otherwise available, subject to the provisions of the laws applicable to the commission.

(b) These regulations provide information concerning the procedures by which records may be obtained.
