Section 600.2 - Penalties

Violation of the rules and regulations promulgated herein shall be an offense punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment; except that the violation of any rule or regulation relating to the transportation of explosives class A or B shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not exceeding $2,500 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed one year or by both such fine and imprisonment. Violations of any rule or regulation governing or regulating traffic on that portion of the bridge within the territorial limits of the United States of America shall be a traffic infraction as that is defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York and shall be punishable as such.
