Section 303.4 - Fishing, diving and loitering

No person shall fish or dive from the bridge or loiter on property over which the authority exercises jurisdiction.

(a) Prohibition on diving from the Atlantic Beach Bridge.

(1) Definitions. Whenever used in this Chapter, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context, the terms herein shall be defined as follows:
(i) Diving includes diving or jumping off of the Atlantic Beach Bridge in any manner. It shall be unlawful for any person to dive or jump off of any portion of the Atlantic Beach Bridge.

(b) Violations and penalties. Violations of this section by any person shall be a civil offense punishable by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 for each offense.
