Section 9607.3 - Access and denial of records

(a) Within five business days after receipt of written request for records, the authority shall:
(1) provide access to the records sought, or
if more than five days are required to respond to a request, receipt of the
request shall be acknowledged by the authority within five business days after
the request is received. The acknowledgement will give an estimate for the date
when a reply will be made; and
(2)
deny access to the records sought, such denial to be in writing setting forth
the reason therefore and right to appeal.
(b) If the requested records cannot be located, the records manager shall certify that the authority is not custodian or that the authority is the custodian but that the records cannot be found after diligent search.
(c) Upon request, the records manager shall certify that the document provided is an exact copy of the document on file.
