Section 9602.2 - Procedure

(a) All interested general contractors are required to complete a prequalification application.
(b) In evaluating the applicant's qualification, the authority will take into consideration the following factors:
(1) experience;
(2) quality and timeliness of past
performance;
(3) financial
capacity;
(4) reliability and
responsibility;
(5) compliance with
equal employment requirements including LBE, MBE and WBE programs;
(6) recognition of New York State approved
apprentice programs and compliance with wage, hour and other fair labor
standards; and
(7) integrity of the
firm, its affiliates, and current and past owners and principals.
(c) The authority will maintain lists of disqualified firms, as well as prequalified firms. The authority will update these lists at least once a year.
