Within 30 days of the public announcement of the Federal SBIR Phase I award winners by a Federal agency, the foundation shall contact all award recipients whose principal place of business is in New York State, as shown on the Federal agency award announcement, to provide each firm with information regarding the State research contract program and the requirements a firm must meet to qualify for a State research contract.
