Section 5903.6 - Approval or disapproval of proposal

(a) A proposal, when accepted by the executive director as provided in section 5903.4(d) of this Part, shall be reviewed and evaluated by the research and review committee, which shall recommend whether or not a grant award shall be made. The recommendation shall be forwarded by the executive director to the board of directors.

(b) The board of directors shall have the full power and authority to determine whether to approve or disapprove the proposal.

(c) The executive director shall notify the applicant of the foundation's decision on the proposal as soon as possible after a decision is reached by the board of directors.
