Section 5901.6 - Award selection process and designation

(a) The office shall designate regional technology development centers in regions throughout the State. Centers shall be designated for a period not greater than five years through a competitive selection process. The office reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. There shall be no limit on the number of times a center may be redesignated.

(b) The office shall review, on an annual basis, the performance of each designated regional technology development center. Criteria shall include, but need not be limited to, the number of jobs created or retained, the number and types of companies assisted, and the impact of such assistance on the companies' competitive position.
