Part 5901 - Support For Regional High Technology Development Organizations
Section 5901.2 - Definitions

For the purpose of this Part:

(a) The term Office means the New York State Office of Science, Technology, and Academic Research.

(b) The term regional high technology development organizationmeans any not-for-profit corporation, or other nonprofit organization, association or agency which is organized for the purpose of the promotion, attraction, stimulation, development and expansion of science and technology-oriented economic activity in a particular region of the State or in one or more counties or cities.

(c) The term regional organization criteria means those specific and desirable characteristics which, in the aggregate, form the base for an effective organizational structure.

(d) The term eligible activities means those activities for which program support from the office may be provided to regional high technology development organizations.
