Section 4700.6 - Requests for public access to records

(a) All requests for public access to records of the authority shall be made in accordance with the provisions of this Part; provided, however, that the executive director or his duly designated representative may waive compliance with any formality prescribed by this Part.

(b) Requests for public access to records of the authority shall be sufficiently detailed so that the records can be identified. Where possible, the applicant shall supply information regarding dates, titles, file designations or other information that may help identify the records.

(c) A request for any or all records falling within a specific category shall conform to the standard that records be identifiable.

(d) The records access officer shall assist the applicant in identifying requested records, if necessary.
