Section 4242.1 - Purpose

These regulations set forth the framework for the administration by the New York State Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development Corporation (ESD or the Corporation) of the JOBS Now Program (JOBS Now or the Program). JOBS Now is authorized under section 16-h of the New York State Urban Development Corporation Act (the UDC Act). The program is intended to promote the economic health of New York State (the State) and increase economic activity within the State by encouraging the expansion of business within the State and the attraction of businesses to the State.
