Section 4212.9 - Eligible commercial revitalization project costs

Commercial revitalization project grants may be used to defray only the following costs ("eligible project costs") and no other costs of participating owners and/or tenants:

(a) labor, materials and other construction and renovation costs for eligible building facade improvements. For purposes of this Part, the term eligible building facade improvements shall mean:

(1) selected masonry repairs;

(2) cleaning and repainting;

(3) new awnings and signage;

(4) wall repairs;

(5) storefront door and window repairs or replacement;

(6) security grills/roll-down gates;

(7) street-front lighting (signage and building);

(8) repair or replacement of visible roofing; and

(9) installation of selected public and private amenities;

(b) fees for architectural services rendered by an architect selected in accordance with the provisions of section 4212.12(c) of this Part, in connection with the planning and design of eligible building facade improvements.
