Section 56.9 - Anchoring vessel elsewhere than on officially designated anchorage ground within waters of Port of New York; prohibition of pilots-fine or suspension

Pilots are prohibited, except in cases of emergency, from anchoring a vessel within the waters of the Port of New York elsewhere than on an officially designated anchorage ground. Any pilot who shall violate this section shall be liable to a fine of $100 or suspension from duty, at the discretion of the commissioners.
