Section 56.7 - Fine for pilots carried to sea through negligence or lack of skill

If, through his own negligence or want of skill, a pilot shall be carried to sea, such pilot shall, in the discretion of the commissioners, be subject to a fine of $100 for each week during which he shall be unavailable for duty at the Port of New York by reason of having been so carried to sea.
