Section 56.4 - Penalty for failure by Sandy Hook or Hell Gate pilot to board inward-bound vessel

Sandy Hook pilots and Hell Gate pilots are required to board the nearest inward-bound vessel displaying a signal for a pilot unless there be in sight a vessel showing a signal of distress. Failure to comply with this section will subject the pilot so failing to a penalty of $50.
