Section 56.18 - Penalty for failure by Sandy Hook pilot to obtain signed order

It shall be the duty of the Sandy Hook pilot on turn when delivering a letter on board a vessel arriving on pilot station ordering her to go instead to another port without entering Port of New York to have an order signed. Failure to comply with this regulation will subject the pilot so failing to a penalty of $50.
