Section 56.10 - Vessel's going aground or other accident to be reported to secretary by pilot; fine for violation

In the event of a vessel's going aground or meeting with any accident while a pilot is in charge, the pilot shall report all circumstances attending the grounding or other accident to the secretary at the office of the commissioners within 24 hours after arrival of the pilot in port, specifying the location and exact time of such grounding or accident and the nature and cause thereof. Every violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of $100.
