Section 52.7 - Bond requirement and sureties

Sureties required by the commissioners to the bond to be filed by each pilot pursuant to section 93 of the Navigation Law shall be two active pilots in good standing, holding licenses similar to, but not necessarily of the same grade as, the license of the pilot furnishing the bond. Upon the death, resignation, retirement or revocation of the license of any pilot whose name shall appear as surety upon any bond, such bond shall become void and the pilot whose bond it is shall forthwith furnish a new bond with two sureties acceptable to the commissioners.
