Section 4.13 - False compensation claims prohibited

No person registered by the commission shall make a false statement for the purpose of obtaining any benefit or payment under any State Workers' Compensation Law or under the Federal Longshoremen and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. Any violation of this section shall be deemed by the commission, in the case of a checker, to constitute an act which is inconsistent with the possession of good character and integrity under section 5-n of the Waterfront Commission Act, and, in the case of a longshoreman, to constitute the longshoreman a danger to the public peace or safety under article VIII of the Act.
