NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW ACT OF 1975 - SEQR
AGENCY IMPLEMENTATION REGULATIONS
Subdivision 3 of Section 8-0113 of Article 8, of Environmental Conservation Law, the State Environmental Quality Review Act of 1975 - SEQR, states:
"3. Within one hundred twenty days after the commissioner adopts such rules and regulations the agencies subject to this article shall, after public hearing, adopt and publish such additional procedures as may be necessary for the implementation by them of this article consistent with the rules and regulations adopted by the commissioner.
(a) Existing agency environmental procedures may be incorporated in and integrated with the procedures adopted under this article, and variance in form alone shall constitute no objection thereto. Such agency procedures shall be no less protective of environmental values, public participation, and agency and judicial review than the procedures herein mandated.
(b) Such agency procedures shall provide for interagency working relationships in cases where actions typically involve more than one agency, liaison with the public, and such other procedures as may be required to effect the efficient and expeditious administration of this article."
Rules and regulations of statewide applicability were adopted by the Commissioner of Environmental Conservation as Part 617 of Title 6 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York on March 19, 1976. As required by Subdivision 3 of Section 8-0113 of Article 8, cited above, the Jones Beach State Parkway Authority has drafted additional procedures, SEQR Agency Implementation Regulations, that apply to its own actions and to those actions over which it has jurisdiction.
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to subdivision 3 of Section 8-0113 of Article 8 of Environmental Conservation Law, cited above, the Jones Beach State Parkway Authority will cause a public hearing to be held to review its draft SEQR Agency Implementation Regulations at the following place and time:
July 30, 1976 at 10:00 a.m.

The purpose of this hearing is to obtain the views of all interested persons, municipalities, organizations, corporations of agencies of the State regarding the adoption of the Jones Beach State Parkway Authority's SEQR Agency Implementation Regulations. The hearing will continue until all persons present who wish to be heard have been heard. Written statements are encouraged. Statements received prior to or presented at the hearing will be considered part of the official record. The record of the hearing will retain open until August 6, 1976 for additional written statements. These may be sent to William J.
