Section 8189.5 - Scale

Cities and villages shall be mapped at a scale no smaller than one inch equals 100 feet. Densely populated areas shall be mapped at one inch equals 50 feet. Other areas shall be mapped at one inch equals 200 feet or one inch equals 400 feet, whichever is appropriate for the area being mapped. The map scale shall be such that when parcels are delineated on the map there shall be, within each parcel, adequate room to contain the lot number and the parcel dimensions.
