Section 810.5 - Nominations

(a) Nominations may be made by any person or agency, public or private. A local government may nominate itself.

(b) Nomination blanks shall be mailed by the Office for Local Government to the chief elected officials of all counties, cities, towns, and villages, and to State legislators and State agencies early in September. Nominations shall be submitted to the Office for Local Government by October 25 of each year.

(c) Nominations will be judged on the basis of innovative quality, excellence of performance, benefits accrued to the citizens, and evidence of success.
