Section 810.2 - Awards

(a) Each award shall consist of a plaque and $5,000 in cash which the winning local government shall award as a scholarship to a student planning a career in municipal government. The purpose of the scholarship is to build local government leadership for the future.

(b) One award each year shall be made in each of the following categories:

(1) Under 25,000 population.

(2) 25,000 to 100,000 population.

(3) Over 100,000 population.

(c) Awards shall be presented at suitable ceremonies in January.
