Section 211.43 - Applicability of the Unified Rules of Boxing

All boxing contests and exhibitions shall be contested according to the Unified Rules of Boxing as adopted and amended by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) as set forth in this part, unless otherwise authorized or directed by the Commission. Under no circumstances, however, shall the broad powers of any physician as provided for in State law and the rules of the Commission be restricted in any manner by application of the Unified Rules of Boxing. The authority to render final determinations based on the application and interpretation of the Unified Rules of Boxing for contests held within the State of New York shall be vestedin the Commission.
