Part 725 - Pension Plan For Blind Vending Stand Operators
Section 725.2 - Definitions

(a) Blind vending stand operator shall mean any blind or visually handicapped person who is a participating member in the commission's vending stand program and who operates a vending stand in any building under a license from the commission. Such term shall also include any blind or visually handicapped employee of a blind vending stand operator who is a participating member in the vending stand program.

(b) Board shall mean the board of trustees of the plan.

(c) Commission shall mean the commission for the visually handicapped.

(d) Commissioner shall mean the Commissioner of the State Department of Social Services.

(e) Plan shall mean the pension plan proposed by the commission to provide for retirement income of blind vending stand operators, approved as may be required and in accordance with all applicable provisions of law. Such term shall include the terms and conditions of any trust executed by the commission for placing the principal of the pension in trust and shall include the terms and conditions of any contract with an insurance company for the administration of the plan.
