Section 629.2 - Conditions for reimbursement for JOBS training program activities and related supportive services

(a) No portion of any claims for reimbursement may be supported solely with State funds if reimbursement may be claimed from a program for which there is Federal financial participation.

(b) Claims for reimbursement from any portion of a program or activity for which there is Federal financial participation which were not fully reimbursed as claimed and which were properly made at the time they were originally claimed may be reclaimed as expenses for which Federal financial participation is available if such claims were appropriate when originally submitted, provided the revised claims are timely and adjustments to reduce the original claims are simultaneously submitted to the department.

(c) Claims for reimbursement for activities that are available to participants of JOBS training program services or related supportive services but which are nonreimbursable costs as described in section 609.3 of this Title cannot be submitted or claimed as reimbursable with JOBS training program funds.

(d) Claims for reimbursement for JOBS training program activities or related supportive services cannot be submitted for reimbursement if such claims seek reimbursement at rates or for amounts that are greater than the rates or amounts permitted by law or by the department.

(e) Claims for reimbursement for expenditures made under the JOBS training program cannot be submitted for reimbursement if such claims seek reimbursement for services that would have been available to participants in JOBS training program services from a community-based program.

(f) Claims for reimbursement for JOBS training program activities and related supportive services are subject to the availability of State and Federal funds, as determined by the commissioner.

(g) Claims subject to reimbursement under the Food Stamp Employment and Training Program described in section 387.23 of this Title or claims for expenditures for State or other employment programs that cannot be reimbursed in accordance with the provisions of title IV-F of the Federal Social Security Act cannot be submitted under the provisions of this Part; such claims must be coordinated with the claims subject to this Part in accordance with department directions set forth in section 600.2(g) of this Title.

(h) Any adjustments of claims for reimbursement must be made in accordance with department directions as defined by section 600.2(g) of this Title.
