Current through Register Vol. 46, No. 12, March 20, 2024

(a) No portion of any claim for reimbursement for child support enforcement activities submitted by a social services district may be supported solely with State funds if reimbursement may be claimed from a program for which Federal participation is available.

(b) Any claims for reimbursement from any portion of a program or activity for which Federal financial participation is available which were not fully reimbursed as claimed, and which were properly made at the time they were originally claimed, may be claimed from programs for which Federal participation is available if they could have been so claimed when originally submitted, provided that the revised claim is timely and an adjustment made to reduce the original claim is simultaneously submitted to the department.

(c) Any claims for reimbursement for child support enforcement expenditures which are subsequently determined by the department to be reimbursable from, or for which reimbursement is actually received or credited from, another program for which Federal financial participation could be received, shall be reduced in an amount equivalent to the amount determined by the department to be due as a result of the availability of Federal participation.

(d) Claims for reimbursement for child support enforcement expenditures shall not be submitted if such claims seek reimbursement at rates or amounts that are greater than otherwise permitted by the department.

(e) Any adjustments of claims for reimbursement in the child support enforcement program, including adjustments to claims as a result of recoveries, collections or incentives, shall be made in accordance with procedures, instructions or directions of the department.
