(a) In addition to the responsibilities described in applicable sections of this Part and Parts 485 and 486 of this Title, local department of social services staff shall provide orientation to family-type care and assist the operator of a family-type home to develop procedures and mechanisms to:
(1) obtain required health and mental health
information concerning residents and prospective residents;
(2) arrange for professional evaluation of
residents, and for the transfer of the resident to an appropriate level of
care, if necessary;
(3) establish
linkages with community resources; and
(4) fulfill recordkeeping
requirements.
(b) Social services district staff must provide residential placement services for adults to eligible residents of family-type homes in accordance with the department's consolidated services plan and Part 458 of this Title.
