Section 464.4 - Recruitment, utilization, training and assignment of volunteers

(a) Recruitment. Volunteers, both male and female, shall be recruited from all income levels and from all segments of the population, including senior citizens and students, to fill volunteer program needs. Resources for recruitment shall include but need not be limited to local volunteer bureaus, speakers' bureaus, churches, news media, service clubs, publicity literature.
(b) Utilization of volunteers. Utilization of volunteers shall include but need not be limited to assisting any advisory committees, and performing services to supplement or complement the work of employed staff, such as:

(d) Assignment of volunteers. The assignment of the volunteers shall be cleared through the volunteer program coordinator and shall be related to the known interests and skills of the volunteers and the time they have available. Criteria for assignment must include at least the following:
